So Honda finally launched CBR 250RR in Indonesia yesterday and the whole biking world just went crazy over the new quarter-litre. And why wouldn’t so? The reasons for so much exhilaration over this new boy’s toy are many.
Firstly, it looks astonishingly rave from every angle, in all 3 official colors…
Secondly, it’s loaded with all the right features with no compromise done by tech and design department of Honda.
Starting with Inverted Telescopic Suspension…
Twin LED headlamps…
Sharp rear end…
Dual muffler exhaust…
Aluminum swing arm…
OHH… MMYYYY… GODDD…
It’s orgasmic to see a HUD of a 250cc bike come alive like that. The video below reveals that the dashboard has 3 riding modes display, odometer, real-time fuel economy, lap timer and much more.
During the model unveiling, Honda proudly displayed the internal parts of CBR 250RR as well, that makes the bike what it is, including it’s Truss frame, aluminum swing arm and the engine.
The biggest noteworthy thing of all is this video, which shows two CBR 250RR fitted with aftermarket exhaust (Akrapovic presumably) producing the screechiest sound ever, almost like turbocharged Kawasaki H2R and that’s a BIG comparison to make for this bike.
It’s unclear if Honda going to launch CBR 250RR in India at all because the bike will surely fall in, if not go beyond the price range of Yamaha R3 (i.e above INR 3.5 lakhs), making it out of reach for many bike enthusiast in the country. Though this would be a great add-on to the quarter-litre motorcycle segment in India and those ‘One Make’ racing championships.
