Based on FZ-09 platform, Yamaha has released the images of its new retro cafe racer styled motorcycle XSR900.
Sharing the same chassis and inline 3 cylinders configuration, XSR900 has 847cc, liquid cooled engine and comes with traction control, ride by wire throttle, ABS, and adjustable suspension. It will be sold globally in 3 versions: a 60th anniversary special, classy dark blue and brushed-aluminum tank version and will compete directly with BMW RnineT and Triumph Bonneville in terms of category and performance.
The US pricing will be announced by February 2016 and if launched in India, the bike speculated cost could hit a million rupee (=10 lacs) or above mark.
