Legendary British motorcycle racer Guy Martin had a nasty crash in Ulster GP, the Isle of Man on Thursday, when his bike rear tyre skid through a corner, throwing him in the air. On hitting the ground, Martin rolled several times before coming to a halt, resulting in severe abrasions.
Injuries of Guy Martin are not ‘life threatening’ yet he is under constant medical observation. Reportedly, doctors did an eight hours surgery to stabilise his vertebrae and he is expected to be on his feet in few days.
Motorsports incidents like this remind us the cost these sportsmen are ready to pay, for doing the job they absolutely love and are passionate about.
Get well soon Martin.
