Triumph has revealed 2016 Bonneville series and the bikes look drop dead gorgeous, to say the least. Almost re-designed from the ground up, Triumph Bonneville T120/T120 Black and Thruxton/Thruxton R gets a new engine, look & colors, chassis and suspension along with a brand new Bonneville family member, Street Twin.
The high-quality finish and detailing on all 3 bikes has bought bike lovers on their knees and left many drooling.
2016 Bonneville T120 & T120 Black
The bike comes with a new 1200cc water-cooled, 8-valve, parallel twin engine with 105 nm peak torque at 3100 rpm (a massive 54% more than the previous generation). There is no technical difference between T120 and T120 Black except the styling.
Bonneville Thruxton & Thruxton R
The 2016 Thruxton ‘high power’ engine has 64% more torque than the previous 865cc generation Thruxton and has all new chassis and suspension. Thruxton and Thruxton R have 1200cc, eight-valve, parallel twin engine that delivers a claimed peak torque figure of 112 nm at 4950 rpm. The cafe racer look is well delivered along with sharp handling. The bike has clip-on handlebars, fully adjustable suspension and 17-inch front wheel.
Termed as 900cc ‘modern classic’, Street Twin is a completely new bike from Triumph. Designed to appeal younger riders, this parallel twin, 8-valve delivers a peak torque of 80 nm at 3200 rpm. The bike comes with variable anti-lock brake system (ABS) and switchable traction control as standard along with immobiliser & slip-assisted clutch.
