Vespa has launched Vespa 946 Emporio Armani in India at a price tag of Rs. 12,04,970 (ex-showroom, Pune). The scooter has been jointly developed by Georgio Armani and Piaggio to celebrate Italy’s two most iconic brands that re-define style and creativity.
The name Vespa 946 comes from the fact that it was first made in 1946, however, it’s re-created with modern design, looks and functionality.
The scooter, build on steel monocoque chassis has ABS, disc brakes, traction system, digital display, LED lighting and comes only in the matte black finish.
Specification wise, it has 125cc single cylinder engine producing 11.95 ps of power and 10.3 Nm of torque and comes with 120/70-12 front and 130/70-12 rear tyre and 8.5 litres fuel tank.
Target mainly to affluent buyers, we are pretty sure that this Vespa would mostly be seen in movie scenes as props, rather than on Indian streets.
So, this is the Vespa they have launched…
…but this is the one that would really have our money. 😀
